Faster, Simpler Collaborative Writing

With Thoughtslinger, a bunch of people can work on the same document at the same time. Everyone sees what everyone else is doing as they do it.

A Brief Overview

When you sign in to Thoughtslinger, you get previews of your documents. Click a side preview to move it to the middle. Click the middle preview to open the document.

To create a new document, give it a name. The password is optional.

Every document gets a "slinger ID" that you can pass around to your friends. They can use it to join in and co-edit the document.

When you're co-editing, the sections are color-coded to show where others are working.

You can turn change-tracking on or off using the "Change" button on the toolbar.

Change-tracked text uses underlines and strikeouts to show editing activity.

Click the "Freeze" button on the toolbar to freeze a selected section of text.

Frozen sections are uneditable until thawed.
